Foreign nationals who were attempting to enter Mongolia using counterfeit visa permits were detected and deported by the Immigration Agency of Mongolia. Five citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who came for the purpose of travel, tried to obtain a visa to enter Mongolia at the Chinggis Khaan International Airway Port using counterfeit visa permits.
Hence, according to Article 37.1.6 of the Law on the Legal Status of Foreign Nationals, on the grounds of obtaining a visa or residence permit using forged documents, or having edited or falsified a visa or residence permit, the foreign nationals have been deported and barred from re-entering Mongolia for the duration of 5 years.
The Immigration Agency of Mongolia delivers the visa permit or the documents that authorize the issuance of visas to foreigners to international border ports and diplomatic missions abroad from Mongolia and regularly monitors them. Therefore, it is impossible to enter Mongolia by falsifying the documents, foreign nationals should carefully study and check their inviting citizens, enterprises, and organizations, and not be influenced by any false information or illegal actions.
