The number of consultations and information provided by hotlines increased 3.7 times in 2024

To enhance the accessibility of government services for citizens, the Immigration Agency of Mongolia has expanded the capacity of the 1800-1882 hotline by increasing the number of lines dedicated to receiving calls. The hotline now operates with 10 simultaneous lines for advice and information.

On average, between 350 and 450 clients receive advice and information daily, with over 90 percent of all clients accessing services via the hotline. The remaining clients receive assistance in person or electronically.

In 2024, a total of 79,292 citizens were provided with consultations and information through the hotline. Compared to the previous year, the number of consultations provided via the hotline increased by 3.7 times, while the number of citizens receiving assistance in person decreased by 10.8 percent.

Calls to the 1800-1882 advice and information hotline are charged at the standard telephone rate, and services are available from 08:15 to 16:00 on weekdays. For assistance outside of business hours, citizens may contact the agency by email at visasection@immigration.gov.mn.
