Since April 1, 2023, the Immigration agency of Mongolia has independently implemented the printing and issuance of residence cards. This is aimed at saving time and costs for clients, as well as reducing the congestion of service centers. The residence cards are now centrally issued at the One-Stop Service Center of the State Registration located in the Chingeltei District, in the heart of the city.
Now, the option for printing the residence card has been expanded, and foreign residents can print their residence cards themselves using a kiosk machine. The kiosk has been placed at the One-Stop Service Center for Investors, located at the Government Building No. 11 in the Chingeltei District, and the service is now available.
Applicants and inviters can apply for new residence permits, extensions, change of type, or requests for re-issuance of the residence card via the online service system. They can select the "Residence Card Printing Kiosk Machine" option, and once the request is approved and a notification is sent, they will be able to print their residence card from the kiosk machine.
The applicant or authorized representatives will need to enter their registration number and the phone number registered in the DAN system when printing the residence card. After receiving a one-time code on their phone, they will complete the verification process and access the system. As a result, The Identity Card for Foreign Residents will be printed quickly, and on-site, within 2-5 minutes.
