Following recommendations are advised to the people who are coming from abroad to Mongolia.
If you are coming to Mongolia from a foreign country, you must have a PCR test result of last 72 hours with a “negative” test result. If the passenger is cured from Covid-19, a proof of recovery is required.
If 14 days past since full doses of Covid-19 vaccines or you have a proof of recovery, home isolation is not necessary.
If you are as followings, you are advised to have home isolation for one week.
- Not having Covid-19 vaccines
- Not having full doses of Covid-19 vaccines
- Less than 14 days since the full doses of Covid-19 vaccines
- If you come with a child aged between 0-18 who is not vaccinated even you had full doses of Covid-19 vaccines at least 14 days before.
In above cases, people who arrived from abroad should notify about home isolation to their residential local hospital. During home isolation period, you should not invite guests to your home, not go to public places, monitor body temperatures regularly and contact with the local hospital if any symptom of Covid-19 is observed and get PCR tested.
