Within the scope of Law on Legal Status of Foreign Nationals and Law on Citizenship:

• Issue visa, visa permission, extend residence permit and void visa for foreign national and stateless person;

• Register temporary residents, foreign national and stateless person residing in Mongolia for official or private purposes, to issue residence permits, to extend, revise and revoke permits, and to issue electronic ID;

• Resolve issues ato citizenship, immigration, international and non-governmental organization and adoption;

• Monitor the implementation of Law, resolve any occuring offences.
