Required materials 
 

• Official request
• Address statement by local sum, khoroo`s authority 
• Copy of passport or relevant valid substitute (must be valid for a minimum of 180 days before your intended travel to Mongolia);
• 1 photo ( size 3.5x4.5 )
• Biography of three generations if the applicant is above the age of 18 (including biography of the applicant, wife/husband/, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother);
• Receipt of payment 
• Application form 
• Immigrant residency permit holder must notify online/in person 72 hours before leaving the country.

Notice 

• Private purpose resident must apply for extention 30 days before expiration of residence permit
• Residency permit can be issued up to 2 years
• Residency permit of foreign national born in Mongolia can be extended up to 3 years
• Residency permit period of immigrant`s child is same as their parents` 
• Residency permit can be cancelled if immigrant stays abroad for more than 180 days in one year
